Two-door interlock control module
UET System Interlock is a two-door control module being developed to coordinate door release conditions in cleanroom transitions and controlled areas. The design brings door and lock feedback together with user panels. It is under development and is not presented as a production-ready product with completed firmware and physical prototype validation.
Design scope and planned functions
- Two doors and four independent RJ45 panel interfaces per controller, targeting panels on both sides of each door. RJ45 ports are not Ethernet interfaces.
- Nominal 12 V or 24 V DC supply design. Locks use the board input voltage; the board does not convert a 24 V supply to 12 V lock power.
- Two separate RS485 interfaces for PC/PLC/SCADA integration and module coordination, with a Modbus RTU and configurable door-group architecture.
- Interfaces for door position, lock feedback, panel buttons, LED/buzzer control and a COM/NO/NC fault relay.
- Software-selectable lock and panel polarity, channel current monitoring and protection circuits are within the design scope. Functions remain subject to firmware and field validation.
Selection and commissioning
Define lock type, behavior on power loss, supply voltage, inrush current, panel wiring and door groups for each project. Continuous output current, EMC/thermal performance and field reliability are not yet validated product specifications. The emergency input and network release function do not replace an independent certified fire or evacuation system. Confirm production and site acceptance scope during technical discussions.
