LAF HEPA filter and air velocity monitoring device
LAF HEPA & AIR CONTROL monitors differential pressure in laminar-flow and HEPA-filter applications. It calculates filter loading from configured clean and dirty filter pressures; this is not a direct particle or microbiological cleanliness measurement.
Measurement and integration scope
- Active measurements are differential pressure and optional air velocity.
- Filter loading is calculated from configured pressure references.
- Three filter alarm levels and optional air velocity alarms can be configured.
- The optional SAV.P probe is read over RS485 Modbus RTU with the device acting as master; analog outputs are unused in this firmware variant.
Selection and commissioning
Commission filter reference pressures, alarm thresholds, probe selection and placement for the application. A filter-loading indication does not replace HEPA integrity testing, airflow validation or cleanroom classification.
